 Making the Rockefeller Drug Law Reforms Real
A grant to the Center for Court Innovation at the Fund for the City of New York is training judges and other court personnel to help implement new laws to deal with non-violent drug offenders.

With a $50,000 grant from The Trust, the Geriatric Career Development Program at Jewish Home and Hospital for Aged will continue to give disadvantaged youth an opportunity to develop valuable skills while providing supervised care and comfort to the elderly.

Keeping Families in Their Homes
Preventing homelessness by helping people keep their homes has long been a priority at The Trust, and with more homeowners and renters facing foreclosure and eviction, we are supporting the Bridge Fund of New York so it can double the number of families it can assist.

The Trust has been making grants to better organize a system that supports job creation and worker training. Our efforts, in concert with the Workforce Development Funders’ Group (which we house) and the City, have spawned several agencies.

 Hope Shining 
Helping to Stop Child Abuse Through Public Education
A 2008 grant of $100,000 to Safe Horizon has funded the New York City part of the national Hope Shining Campaign to stop child abuse. Posters from this public education effort have been posted throughout the City.

Growing through Rowing in Queens

With Trust support since 2003, Row New York has helped hundreds of girls learn to row, improve their grades, and see attending college as a real possibility.
