Types of Funds

Public schools, health care, dance, parks. Whatever your charitable interests, whether you have $100 million or $10,000 to give, The Trust offers simple, flexible, and rewarding options. There are four different funds to choose from:

Unrestricted Funds

Give discretion to The Trust's governing board to use the donor's gift to meet contemporary needs and make grants in your name, forever. More »

Field-of-Interest Fund

With these types of funds, we make grants to nonprofits that tackle issues of concern to the donor, such as child and family welfare, youth, education, or health. More »

Donor-Advised Fund

This is an unrestricted fund legally, but the donor recommends the organizations to receive grants. More »

Designated Funds

Name specific nonprofits to receive grants, subject always to our board's variance power, which ensures that the fund remains relevant over time: Should circumstances change that make carrying out the fund's purpose impossible, impractical, unnecessary, or undesirable, our board can put the money to use for other important charitable activities.
