Advisor Xpress FAQs

How often is the information in Advisor Xpress updated?
Advisor Xpress is updated nightly to reflect grants and contributions. Market value generally is updated monthly.

What do I do if I forget my fund user identification number?
Contact Bob Edgar at 212.686.0010, ext. 373 or Gay Young at ext. 377 for assistance.

What do I do if I forget my fund password?
Go to Advisor Xpress and enter your fund user identification number. Then click on the link that says "Forgot your password? Click here." You will be prompted to enter your e-mail address, which must match the address we have on file. Your password will then be e-mailed to you. However, please keep in mind that each fund has only one identification number and one password. Please coordinate password changes with other fund advisors.

Will my information be kept confidential?
The Advisor Xpress site is secure. We never share any personal information. If your fund has more than one advisor, each advisor will have access to all fund information, including the fund identification number and password.

Who can use Advisor Xpress to make grant suggestions from my fund?
Any advisor to your fund who registers may make grant suggestions using Advisor Xpress.

What will happen when I submit my grant suggestions on-line?
All grant suggestions, including those submitted on-line, are processed the same way. We will do our best to respond promptly to your grant suggestions and to keep you apprised of their status.

Is there a limit on the number of grants I can make using Advisor Xpress?
There is no limit to the number of grants an advisor can recommend, on-line or otherwise.

Will I be able to receive a copy of my grant check?
Yes. You will receive a copy of the grant check and voucher just as you do now. The original will be sent directly to the grantee organization at the address provided to us by the organization.

Can I make a contribution to my fund on-line?
No. Please contact Gay Young at ext. 377 for information on how to make additional gifts to your fund.

Can I change my fund investments on-line?
No, you can only check your fund balance and investment selections. Please contact Mary Greenebaum at ext. 464 if you wish to discuss investment options.

Whom should I contact if I need additional help with Advisor Xpress?

Do I have to use Advisor Xpress?
No, you may submit grant suggestions to us in whatever form you find most convenient.
