On March 20, 2020, a group of donors—including Bloomberg Philanthropies, Carnegie Corporation of New York, Ford Foundation, and more—announced the launch of the NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund to provide emergency financial support to help small and mid-size nonprofits respond to emerging needs, cover losses associated with the disruption of their operations, and continue their critical work.
We are pleased to share with you “Resilience & Resolve,” a report detailing the scope and impact of this historic fund, which distributed more than $110 million in grants and loans to nearly 800 nonprofits.
This report provides a closer look at the Fund’s grant program, the nonprofits it supported, and the road ahead. To learn more about the loan program, visit Nonprofit Finance Fund.
